All our costumes are made with high-quality cotton twill so they are comfortable for regular wear and are perfect for the early years classroom where they stand up to the rough and tumble of play. Our firefighter costume is an essential addition to any first responder or community helper dress-up area, at home or in the classroom.
Our costumes have undergone rigorous testing for size, washability and durability.

All of our My Little Uniform costumes are sized according to best international standards and are based on an average size. All chlidren are unique so we recommend that you choose the same size as your child’s clothing. All of our costumes are generous in size, allowing room for growth. All our My Little Uniform dress-up costumes are made to be hardwearing and long lasting so that your little one can have hours of fun dressing up as their favourite character. To make sure your new uniform stays in top condition we recommend the following:
Washing and Drying
Each uniform can be machine washed and tumble dried. We recommend a wash temperature of as low as possible and a maximum of 40°C. Drying outdoors will prolong the life of your new costume but in the event that tumble drying is required we recommend a low temperature dry cycle.
Ironing
It may be unusual to iron a children’s costume but, our role-play uniforms are cotton and can be ironed on a medium heat, taking care to avoid areas of embroidery and reflective tape.

Our little uniforms are designed and tested in Ireland. We make sure they go through a rigorous process of testing for size, safety, and durability. We also choose cotton fabrics for their softness, strength, and washability. In addition, each costume is made using over-locked seams, rolled hems and topstitching combine to guarantee your Little Uniform will last for years of play.

I can not do justice to the quality of the costume/how good I think it is in this review. As a mum and early years teacher I was seriously impressed when I opened the packaging and can’t recommend it enough – the quality and detailing in the costume it is gorgeous. This costume is so well made, high quality fabric so no worrying about nasties in it or it falling apart soon after buying. I see my son getting 2+ years of use out of it (I sized up)and have no doubts that it will the go on to see many years in school after he out grows it, the quality is that good! I had planned to buy this for my little boy for Christmas. My MIL overhead me and offered to get it for his birthday. I felt so guilty because there are cheaper options out there so I almost gave in and just looked up a cheaper option for her, but I’m so glad I didn’t. It has arrived and it is perfection. This will last for years to come. He hasn’t tried it on yet, but the quality is second to none. It is a mini uniform and not a costume. When he outgrows it I will happily take it into my classroom without worrying that it will fall apart.
The only slight niggle I have had nothing to do with the company, postage or delivery. I have a slight issue with the logo. It doesn’t appear as inclusive as your costumes are. All the children look male to me, and no children of minorities or disabilities are represented.
