A great start for any classroom dress-up area.
Our authentic Irish role-play costumes were originally designed with classrooms in mind. They are generously sized, durable, easy to put on and off, and most importantly they are easy to clean and wash.
Made with 100% cotton twill our children’s costumes are not only durable but are the sustainable choice when it comes to fitting out your dress-up area.
Children will instantly recognise these costumes, making them a guaranteed hit with everyone. From firefighters to gardai, we aim to make our costumes as authentic as possible so that children can easily transform into their favourite community helper characters with ease. We have included lots of details, from vibrant yellow “FIRE BRIGADE” embroidery and reflective stripes on our firefighter costume to large gusset pockets, chunky zips and patches on our zookeeper costume. Details matter, helping children recognise the costumes and embrace their new persona. Role-play gives children the opportunity to learn about important people in the community and develop positive dispositions and relationships as they become independent citizens in their own right.
Do your little Gardai want to set up their very own Garda Station? Do your little postmen and women want their own post office? Fantastic!
Our printable resources create a print-rich learning opportunity with everything from wall posters to charts and colouring pages. Dramatic play is a wonderful way to develop social, emotional, and communication skills and it is great fun too!

Washing and Drying
Each uniform can be machine washed and tumble dried. We recommend a wash temperature of as low as possible and a maximum of 40°C. Drying outdoors will prolong the life of your new costume but in the event that tumble drying is required we recommend a low temperature dry cycle.
Ironing
It may be unusual to iron a children’s costume but, our role-play uniforms are cotton and can be ironed on a medium heat, taking care to avoid areas of embroidery and reflective tape.

Reasons to choose
My Little Uniform
Authentic
Career role-play helps children develop positive relationships with people in their community. When children put on a costume they transform, taking on new mannerisms and attitudes. They can explore the roles and responsibilities of their new persona through play and have a lot of fun.
Sustainable
Sustainability is at the core of everything we design. All our costumes are made with Oeko-Tek certified, 240+gsm cotton. Reinforces seams and hems ensure all our costumes will last for years of play. Every design is tested rigorously with over 40 wash cycles to ensure it is suitable for regular wear.
Play based learning
Dramatic play is an important part of early childhood. Through play, children learn to express themselves and their ideas, to negotiate with others, think creatively, and solve problems. Dramatic play introduces a whole new vocabulary and helps children understand the way the world works.
